(Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics)
Hello and welcome to the Normandale STEM Club calender! This page will be used to communicate with those interested in attending any of our STEM related talks, events, or experiments. These are open to any member of the public and are absolutely free of charge!
Last Week - 4/11/14 | This Week - 4/18/14 | Next Week - 4/25/14 |
Biology Lab | STEM Club End Semester Meeting | TBD |
S1260 - Biology Lab @ 2PM | K1450 - Fireside Room @ 2PM | TBD |
Strawberry DNA extraction and grow-your-own lysozyme crystals. | We'll be using this meeting to recap this past semester. We want to hear from all members on what you liked or disliked so we can make STEM Club even better next year. We'll also cover leadership opportunities for next semester and possible summer activities. | TBD |
We strive to explore relevant and engaging topics by inviting expert speakers to give talks on various STEM fields, conduct fun experiments, or host workshops and help sessions for our ongoing Club projects. With a few exceptions (which will be detailed when they come up), we generally always meet in the large Kopp Student Center Fireside Conference room, K1450 (map below), every Friday at 2PM. These meetings usually last an hour but you're always free to come and go as you please! In addition, we often have laid-back, open discussions on all manner of STEM topics after the meetings and you're most definitely welcome to come and chat with your peers.
